PRESUMPTUOUS - PART 2 You keep using words you’ve never studied… And think you’re right because you feel right. But feelings ain’t definitions… And assumptions ain’t discernment. Everybody’s fluent… until you ask ’em what they mean. They’ll die on a hill built on a word they never took ten seconds to read. Offended by a sound, triggered by a syllable, arguing over letters they never traced back to the root. Whole doctrines formed off a translator’s bias, belief systems leaning on somebody else’s dictionary, and never their own study. You think you know… but you don’t. And that gap between what you think and what is written? That’s the danger. That’s presumption. Words got meaning, not just moods. If you don’t look it up, then you don’t know the truth. You’re fighting shadows, calling darkness “proof,” ’cause presumption is a teacher that keeps you un-fruitful. Words got weight, they shape what you choose. If you won’t learn ’em, then you’re bound to lose. Religious rooms filled with confident voices, quoting translations that matched their choices. Never thinking maybe, just maybe, the meaning they were fed ain’t the meaning that was said. Ancient tongues twisted into modern customs, whole congregations trained by assumptions. You call it “truth”? But you never checked. You call it “faith”? But you never traced the text. Humility ain’t weakness, it’s the doorway to precision. You can’t walk in wisdom if you won’t make revisions. The proud stay loud, the wise stay listening. Words got meaning, not just vibes. If you don’t study deep, you just follow the tribe. You’re swinging swords with the dullest of sides, Presumption ain’t harmless… presumption divides. Words got meaning, learn ’em, then rise. Stop guessing. Start knowing. Stop repeating. Start researching. ’Cause if you don’t know the meaning… the meaning will own you.
