[Intro] Midnight. Empty highway. No cars. No sound. [Yoruno] “My big bro?” [Rise] “I’m here, my little bro.” Silver clothes. Silver shoes. Silver hair. They call him the Silver Fox. [Yoruno] “Chachaki-san?” [Chachak] “I’m here!” He drops out of the air. Wrong place? Wrong time? Not tonight. [Yoruno] “Okay. Let’s go to Sky City.” [Instrumental] [Verse 1] We hold hands, the night starts bending, Chachaki bends time like it's nothing. My visit data, his strange power, future roads appear in the midnight hour. A little house stands quiet in the sky, but don't trust the size you see from outside. We open the door— [Yoruno] “Whoa…” The inside is bigger than a SpaceX factory. Sky City stands there, guitar on his back. [Sky City] “Hey, Yoruno. You brought a new friend?” [Yoruno] “Of course I did. Now show me what you got.” [Pre-Chorus] [NALSC21] “Welcome, Yoruno.” Tea on the table, coffee in the air, orange ice, chips everywhere. [NALSC21] “I made enough for everyone.” [Yoruno] NALSC21 keeps designing, drawing impossible things. The most beautiful humanoid I've ever seen, with an inventor's mind and a thousand dreams. [Sky City] “Come on, bro. You wanna see Forest Sprite?” [Chorus] [Yoruno + Group] SKY CITY! Take me to the future tonight! SKY CITY! Turn a song into a world alive! Play that guitar, open that door, we don't know what we're running for. SKY CITY! If the world goes wild, we just smile! Sky City, Sky City, take me for a ride! [Verse 2] Five meters tall. An ancient man made of something older than memory. Eyes closed. Hands raised like he's chanting to another age. But Forest Sprite isn't just a machine. It's a magical converter. [Sky City] “Put a song inside.” The song goes in. Forest Sprite transforms it. The music becomes a concrete world. A real world. A world we can enter. There's a small door between his legs. [Yoruno] “That's where the song goes?” [Sky City] “Yeah.” [Yoruno] Only Rise and Chachaki enter Forest Sprite. Sky City and I wait upstairs. [Pre-Chorus 2] We sit on the balcony, looking over the ruined city. [Yoruno] “Bro… will my future look like this?” [Sky City] “Not if those crazy cats go crazy again.” [Yoruno] I laugh. “Crazy cats…” [Sky City] “Yeah.” For a moment, the city feels quiet. [NALSC21] “Yoruno. Sky City.” We turn around. “We have a problem downstairs.” [Yoruno] “How bad?” [NALSC21] “Very bad.” [Yoruno] “How many?” [NALSC21] “Hundreds.” [Yoruno] “…Cats?” [NALSC21] “Cats.” [Yoruno] “CATS?!” [Rap Break] Small house, giant room, future machines everywhere. Forest Sprite, five meters tall, song goes in, a real world calls! Tea. Coffee. Orange ice. Future house. Magic device. NALSC21 keeps drawing. Sky City keeps strumming. Yoruno drinks coffee. Everybody's humming. Then— MEOW! MEOW! MEOW! [Breakdown] [Rise] Run! Why are they so fast?! [Yoruno] Orange cat! Behind you! [Rise] I DON'T LIKE THIS! [Chachaki — Distant Male] “DON'T FOLLOW ME!” [Yoruno] Where is Chachaki? [Forest Sprite] Nobody knows. [Chaos] MEOW! MEOW! MEOW! [Verse 3] Rise is running, cats behind, an orange tornado moving like lightning. [Deadpan Baritone] Rise looks pale. Very pale. NALSC21 steps forward. Calm. Elegant. Unshaken. [NALSC21] “You two, get out. I'll handle this.” She smiles. The cats charge. [NALSC21] “Come on, little monsters.” [Chaos] MEOW! One second later— The cats go flying across the room. I stare. Sky City stares. Rise stares. [NALSC21] “Too easy.” [Bridge] [Sky City] “Everybody hold on.” He grabs his silver guitar. [Yoruno] He plays “September Sunsets.” The guitar sings. The room starts shaking. Gamelan rings. Koto flashes. Guzheng bends through the air. Lights become stars. Walls become sky. The whole future starts moving. [Yoruno] “Bro, what are you doing?!” [Sky City] “Taking us somewhere else.” [Yoruno] “WHERE?!” [Sky City] “…Somewhere else.” [Final Chorus] [Yoruno + Group] SKY CITY! Take me to the future tonight! SKY CITY! Turn a song into a world alive! Play that guitar, open that door, we don't know what we're running for. SKY CITY! If the world goes wild, we just smile! Sky City, Sky City, take me for a ride! [Post-Chorus] Sky City! Sky City! [Yoruno] Where are we now? [Sky City] “…I don't know.” [Outro] I open my eyes. No city. No house. No cats. Just trees. Huge trees. Then— [T-Rex — Distant] ROOOOOAR! [Yoruno] Two T-Rex are fighting right in front of us. I slowly look at Sky City. [Yoruno] “Bro…” “Where's your guitar?” [Sky City] “…I don't know.” [Silence.]
