(Verse 1) Beware, brothers, sisters, don't be led astray, By voices claiming knowledge of the coming day. They offer maps of tribulation, neat and clean, But hope is found in Christ, to all who will believe (Chorus) Abide in Him, let the Spirit be your guide, Not systems where assumptions hide. The enemy uses doctrines oversimplified, To steal your hope & faith capsize (Verse 2) They say, "The Temple rises, fulfilling ancient word," But remain in His body, where the Holy Spirit's heard. They point to Israel's land, a promise to reclaim, But Christ embraces all, erasing guilt and shame. (Chorus) (Bridge) Sometimes, no single view is self-evident. Watch out for beautiful systems, don't be hell-bent. These will filter all you see. It's not that easy is it? show some humility (Verse 3) They argue, "Split the scriptures, find the secret code," But it's Jesus who lightens every load. They argue, "70 weeks, a timeline set in stone," But Daniel's words have layers, not easily shown. (Chorus) (Outro) So seek no counterfeits, but add virtue to your faith, And knowledge, self-control as you run His race. Let perseverance blossom, nurtured from above, A life productive, useful, abounding in Christ's love.
