Crazy Dreams (Reimagined Remix) // #ThrowbackThursday

SONG NOTES I originally wrote this for the #80sFrenzy challenge for the year 1986 to invoke the lyrics about dreams of Heart's "These Dreams" and the baroque pop style of Dream Academy’s "Life in a Northern Town." SONG LYRICS [Intro] [instrumental] Waaaaahhhh oooooohhhh. Weeeeehhhh aaaaaahhhh. Heeey-eeeey– yeaaaahhh! [Verse] At night when I close my eyes, I’m in a realm beyond time and space. I feel like I can fly! (Aaaaah haaah!) Getting higher in the sky! (Whoooah hoooh!) [Verse] Then with visions clear like crystal streams, I’m caught in the tide of crazy dreams! Is this real? (Aaaaah haaah!) Embracing feelings that I feel? (Whoooah hoooh!) [Pre-Chorus] Waaaaahhhh oooooohhhh. Weeeeehhhh aaaaaahhhh. Heeey-eeeey– yeaaaahhh! [Chorus] Crazy dreams are calling me! Giving a glance at what’s meant to be! I see it clear before it’s real– (Aaaaah haaah!) What do these visions reveal? (Whoooah hoooh!) [instrumental] [Verse] Time’s a river and I’m swept along Every night it sings its song A sweet melody! (Whoooah hoooh!) But what is it that I see?! (Whoooah hoooh!) [Chorus] Crazy dreams they’re haunting me! I’m seeing visions of what’s yet to be! The future speaks when I’m asleep! (Whoooah hoooh!) In a secret language oh so deep! (Whoooah hoooh!) [Break] La la haaah dee da dee daah! Wooah hooh hooh, aah la la loo! [instrumental] [Chorus] Crazy dreams are calling me! Giving a glance at what’s meant to be! I see it clear before it’s real– (Whoooah hoooh!) What do these visions reveal? (Whoooah hoooh!) [Outro] Waaaaahhhh oooooohhhh. Weeeeehhhh aaaaaahhhh. Heeey-eeeey– yeaaaahhh! [fade out]
