02.Romeo & Juliet

[Verse] The sun goes down On Verona town It takes the life of a friend of mine And the Capulets Still want revenge 'Cause the Montagues killed one of theirs And if God above Hates the same things we love Why's it so hard to leave it alone? Just the other night A woman told me I'm blind 'Cause she knows that I believe in love [Prechorus] But I said "I think you mean love believes in me" [Chorus] And that's why Romeo and Juliet were never supposed to meet And the love they had was real but it was never meant to be Oh They had a poisoned dream and the dream was bittersweet And then the angels scream And they died [Verse 2] When Romeo saw her face He saw a world without hate When he kissed her He kissed her with his eyes closed When he held her in his arms He held a world without harm He fell asleep with his arms wrapped 'round her soul [Prechorus] He never knew that the love was killing him [Chorus] And that's why Romeo and Juliet were never supposed to meet And the love they had was real but it was never meant to be Oh They had a poisoned dream and the dream was bittersweet And then the angels scream And they died [Bridge] They died for love Romeo and Juliet They died for love They died for love Romeo and Juliet They died for love
