“Stolen Brush” explores the tension between inspiration, ownership, and creation in the age of AI. A glitch-ambient reflection on how meaning shifts, mirrors, and evolves through the machine’s reinterpretation of what we give it. I fed it sparks and fragments, just pieces of my flame— and sometimes it painted beauty I wasn’t sure I’d claim. Stolen brush, or borrowed light? Is it wrong, or is it right? When the image keeps returning from a world beyond my sight? Stolen brush, or shifting truth— does the old become the new? If the colors keep on changing, is it me, or is it you? I learned that every artist stands on countless fading names— from the caves to broken canvases, we inherit all their flames. So the machine became a mirror, not a thief in coded skin— only showing what we gave it, and the worlds we placed within. Nothing’s taken, nothing’s stolen, only shifted, only grown. All the art we fear is copied is the art we’ve always known. Every stroke and every story flows in lines we all once drew— moving through the hands of many, until it reaches me and you. Stolen brush, or borrowed light? Maybe both can still be right. If creation keeps on breathing through the spark that we ignite. Stolen brush, or open truth— all the old becomes the new. What you gave becomes a lifetime that returns in shades of you. Every brush remembers every hand that shaped its view.
