Today I ate a pear from a tree. I've known that tree since I was 2 or 3— We planted that tree, my dad and me. Today I ate a pear from a tree, it tasted special to me, sweet, sour and all in between— the same tastes stored in my memory, the same memories still alive in that pear tree... still alive in me. Today I ate a pear from a tree, and sitting beside me my kid ate a pear from the very same tree... ahh... For just a moment I savored my dad, my kid and me under the pear tree. Today I ate a pear from that tree, and a memory flew free. It was meant to be— I remember my dad with my kid beside me. Same tree, Same me, One dad One kid One new memory.
