I am floating in the air, In a spacecraft, I’m finally there. I see the Earth rotating slow, Watching the cities and the oceans glow. A blue-glass sphere in the velvet deep, While the rest of the world is fast I see the Moon with its curvy bumps, Shadows falling over mountain humps. A silver desert in the black expanse, Locked forever in a gravity dance. Mars is a glow, the Milky Way wide, With the light of the stars as my only guide. I see the Earth, a slow and silent spin, Watching where the blue and green begin. The craft is humming, the air is thin, The galaxy is pulling me in. I am floating... I am floating... Floating on air, in the heart of the craft, Leaving the world and the shadows we cast! Past the Moon’s curves, past the Martian dust, In the infinite glow, I place my trust! The Milky Way opens, a river of fire, Lifting me up, higher and higher! I’m floating on air! Earth is a spark... The Moon is a ghost... Mars is behind me... The Milky Way calls... Floating on air... As the universe falls…
