Verse 1 We heard the call, the gospel came, And everything was changed. From empty idols, broken roads, To serving Jesus' name. Though trials came and pressure rose, We would not turn away. By faith and hope and steadfast love, You taught us how to stay. Pre-Chorus In every storm, in every fight, Your grace has been our light. Chorus We'll keep on running, keep on believing, Holding fast through the darkest night. Jesus is coming, our hope is rising, Shining brighter than the morning light. The King is returning, heaven resounding, Every promise will be fulfilled somehow. We'll stand together, encouraging one another, Until the trumpet sounds. Verse 2 Walk in holiness every day, Let love abound and grow. Work with quiet faithfulness, Let Christ's reflection show. When sorrow comes and tears are shed For saints who've gone before, We do not grieve without our hope, For death will reign no more. Pre-Chorus The grave will break, the saints will rise, When glory fills the skies. Bridge A shout from heaven, the archangel's cry, The Lord descending from the sky. The dead in Christ will rise and sing, Forever with our coming King. No fear, no darkness, no final goodbye, We'll meet the Lord beyond the sky. Final Chorus We'll keep on watching, keep on waiting, With hearts awake and lamps alight. Jesus is coming, our blessed Savior, Bringing everlasting life. The King is returning, all creation singing, Every knee and tongue will bow down. We'll stand together, praising Him forever, When the trumpet sounds. Outro Faith, hope, and love remain, Through joy and suffering. Until He comes, we'll lift His name, Christ our coming King. Until the trumpet sounds... Until the trumpet sounds.
