nuonu - Es wird scho glei dumpa (1.15x)

Johann Dirschl
Traditional Alpine Christmas lullaby in Austrian-Bavarian dialect, intimate, warm and deeply emotional, A completely original acoustic and cinematic arrangement inspired by Alpine folk music and sacred Christmas atmosphere, Begin very quietly with distant winter wind, a single village church bell, delicate zither, acoustic guitar harmonics and soft harp, An older warm male voice sings the first verse naturally and gently, with authentic Bavarian-Austrian pronunciation, A clear female harmony joins in the refrain, followed later by a subtle children’s choir, Slow swaying 6/8 rhythm, approximately 58–64 BPM, No drums at the beginning, Gradually add warm strings, cello, French horn, soft accordion, dulcimer, restrained standing alphorn and distant church bells, The performance should feel as though it is being sung in a small Alpine chapel on a snowy winter night, Keep the verses intimate and close, almost like a lullaby sung beside a cradle, The bridge becomes nearly a cappella before

# Es wird scho glei dumpa [Intro – distant church bell, winter wind, soft zither] Hmm-mm … Hmm-mm … [Verse 1 – warm, intimate male voice] Es wird scho glei dumpa, es wird scho glei Nacht, drum kimm i zu dir her, mein Heiland, auf d’Wacht. Will singa a Liadl dem Liebling, dem kloan, du magst ja net schlafn, i hör di nur woan. [Refrain – soft female harmony] Hei, hei, hei, hei, schlaf süaß, herzliabs Kind. Hei, hei, hei, hei, schlaf süaß, herzliabs Kind. [Final Refrain – full choir, orchestra and bells] Hei, hei, hei, hei, schlaf süaß, herzliabs Kind. Hei, hei, hei, hei, weil ma heut beinand sind. Hei, hei, hei, hei, trag Frieden hinaus.
