Beneath the Circle - 2026-09

[Intro — Distant piano motif, hazy synth and processed female vocal] Ooh-ooh Tell me what I’m seeing Teach me how to read [Verse 1 — Airy Female Lead] In the beginning, waters were divided An open space between the deep and sky You spread the heavens like a tent above us You watch the circle from Your throne on high Is there a shining canopy above me? Are there still waters somewhere out of sight? Or did Your words make wonder understandable, Speaking of creation through the language of our eyes? [Pre-Chorus — Female Lead, drums begin rising] I know every word is true But what kind of truth is shown When heaven speaks of mysteries No human mind has known? [Chorus — Female Lead with Male Harmony] Is the earth laid flat beneath us? Does the circle have an edge? Are the waters held above us? Is the sky a crystal stretch? You established earth upon foundations And the sun stood still when Joshua called God of all creation, teach my eyes to see— Is this a map before me Or truth through poetry? [Instrumental — Piano motif, pulsing bass and shimmering guitar] [Verse 2 — Warm Male Lead] Four angels stand beside the four great corners Holding back the winds from land and sea You laid the earth upon its deep foundations And from one mountain every realm was seen The sun stood still above the field of battle The moon held fast above Aijalon Do these words unveil creation’s hidden structure, Or speak the way the wonder looked beneath the sun? [Pre-Chorus — Male Lead, Female Echoes] Every word is true [Every word is true] But help us understand Are we seeing heaven’s blueprint Or the picture in Your hand? [Chorus — Male and Female Duet] Is the earth laid flat beneath us? Does the circle have an edge? Are the waters held above us? Is the sky a crystal stretch? You established earth upon foundations And the sun stood still when Joshua called God of all creation, teach our eyes to see— Is this a map before us Or truth through poetry? [Bridge — Music falls back to piano and heartbeat-like bass] [Female] You hang the earth on nothing in the darkness [Male] You measure seas and number every star [Female] No human map could ever make You greater [Male] No shape could tell us everything You are [Female] Keep me from mocking honest questions [Male] Keep me from finding only what I want [Duet] Give us wisdom for Your sacred pages And humble hearts that seek You in the dark [Final Chorus — Full drums, wide guitars and layered harmonies] Is the earth laid flat beneath us? Does the circle have an edge? Are the waters held above us? Is the sky a crystal stretch? You established earth upon foundations And the sun stood still when Joshua called God of all creation, teach our eyes to see— What You have revealed And what remains a mystery [Outro — Instruments gradually recede] Ooh-ooh Tell me what I’m seeing Teach me how to read The heavens tell Your glory Your Word is truth to me Ooh-ooh Beneath the circle Teach my eyes to see
