GOD'S PLAN STILL STANDS (J.1)

GOD'S PLAN STILL STANDS Paul McCune Minister Of Songs [Intro] I've seen too much to doubt Him now... I've come too far to turn around... [Verse 1] Looking back across the years I can trace Your faithful hand Every step and every season Moving by a greater plan When I could not understand it When I could not see the way You were working in the shadows Preparing for a brighter day [Pre-Chorus] You have never failed me You have always been the same [Chorus] God's plan still stands! His promise remains! The God who spoke it yesterday Forever stays the same! He cannot lie! His Word endures! The hope He placed inside my heart Is anchored strong and sure! Though I may not see it yet I know His hand is moving still! God's plan still stands! And always will! [Verse 2] I remember Joseph dreaming Though the prison came before the throne Every step of preparation Was leading where God had already gone Jobe could not see restoration While the tears were falling down But God's goodness was still working Even when it wasn't found [Pre-Chorus] What was meant for evil God was turning for His good [Chorus] God's plan still stands! His promise remains! The God who spoke it yesterday Forever stays the same! He cannot lie! His Word endures! The hope He placed inside my heart Is anchored strong and sure! Though I may not see it yet I know His hand is moving still! God's plan still stands! And always will! [Verse 3] I believe I'll see His goodness In the land of the living still I believe His loving purpose Is unfolding by His will I see favor in the future I see blessing on the way Not because of who I am But because of what He says And what He says Will come to pass [Bridge] For I know the plans He has for me! Plans for hope! Plans for peace! Plans to prosper! Not harm me! He has not changed! He always stays! The Alpha and Omega Forevermore the same! Double portion! Overflowing grace! The goodness of the Lord Is breaking through this place! [Final Chorus] God's plan still stands! His promise remains! The God who spoke it yesterday Forever stays the same! He cannot lie! His Word endures! The hope He placed inside my heart Is anchored strong and sure! I can see His goodness! I can see His grace! I can see His hand of mercy Working in this place! God's plan still stands! And always will! [Outro] What He started... He will finish... What He promised... He will do... I have seen His faithfulness behind me... And I expect His goodness ahead... Because God is good... God is good... God is good...
