Persephone – Returning With the Spring
TITLE: Persephone – Returning With the Spring Take a slow breath. Let your body soften. Let your mind grow quiet. There is an ancient story about a woman who walked through darkness and returned with wisdom. Her name is Persephone. Once she lived only in the bright world of flowers and sunlight. But life called her into another realm. A deeper world. A hidden world beneath the surface of things. The underworld. There she learned the mysteries of transformation. The mysteries of loss. The mysteries of becoming. And though the journey was difficult something within her changed. She was no longer only the maiden of spring. She had become something more. She had become a queen. Now imagine the long winter has passed. The earth begins to stir again. The soil softens. The frozen ground opens. Tiny green shoots push gently toward the light. And far below the earth Persephone rises. She walks upward through the quiet passages of the underworld. Step by step she returns to the world above. Not the same as before. Wiser. Stronger. Whole. As she emerges the sunlight touches her face. The air feels warm. Birdsong fills the sky. Wherever Persephone walks life begins to awaken. Flowers open. Trees blossom. The earth remembers how to grow again. Now imagine that you are walking beside her. You too have known seasons of darkness. Moments of uncertainty. Times when the path ahead was hidden. And yet here you are. Still walking. Still growing. Still becoming. Persephone turns and looks at you. Her voice is gentle but full of knowing. She says: You are allowed to return to the light. You are allowed to bloom again. The darkness you walked through was not the end of your story. It was the place where your wisdom grew. Now take a breath. Feel the warmth of the sun on your skin. Feel the quiet strength within your body. Like Persephone you carry knowledge from two worlds. The world of shadow. And the world of light. Both belong to you. Both have shaped who you are becoming. When you are ready gently return. Carry this knowing with you. Even after winter the earth always remembers how to bloom. And so do you. From my Soul Journey to yours.
