CUSTOM

[MOVEMENT I — THE HILL (GREATEST)] (Intro — heavy engine idle, rhythmic wheel-tap percussion; a distant broken horn: Meep… Meep…) [Verse 1] Almost over the crest, gas behind him— CAR, getting bigger. That's all he saw. He never saw me come; he never got to blink— Just a scream out of nowhere and the end of the show? [Pre-Chorus] Up the hill front-first, pedal to the floor, A two-ton missile knocking at your door— J-turn at the last moment: The bumper meets his head; I finish him in the air; airborne opposite. [Chorus I] Landed flat, one-eighty spin, in a cloud of dust, Honked for the funeral — Meep meep — as the gas took his loot. Greatest kill I ever landed, and the rule is this: Kill first — the rest is just for show? [Verse 2] They swore the engine was a screaming 787B rotary — The field never knew the name, and that's how it should be. A one-in-a-million kill, a Black Swan on the crest: The hill keeps its secret. The gas takes the rest. (Transition — the engine cuts out. Silence. Footsteps. She dismounts in the penultimate circle; the buggy's noise costs them stealth.) [MOVEMENT II — THE HOUSE (LAST)] [Verse 3] In the penultimate circle, I left my machine — buggy's visible on a minimap. Down four times in a row, hands-on under fire; Radio said "Siren's down" — well, she came back for more. Below the point man holding the staircase. One hit left on the last one, firing back ferociously. [Chorus II] No line of sight, no peek, no prayer, not even the same floor — I bounced the thermobaric up and off the stairwell wall. Bounced into the room — CLANK on the head; The impact took his last hit point. Victory banner . Then comes the fire, then comes the bloom— The banner beat the boom by four-tenths of a second. I killed him with the pitch… the boom was just for show? (pause) [extended industrial cello solo] (short pause, and a breath) [Bridge — The Silence] (Four mics, live all match. Total spoken content:) "I'm down." … "Thanks." Nobody spoke when the victory came. (Exfil rotor on the horizon: wop… wop… wop…) The man on the stairs will never wear his brows the same— Singed whiskers, no sight.. — and the last? He'll say it cost him nothing. He never complains. [Tag — whispered, narrator] The rotary got its greatest and its last in one clean seal; I got two. A peak in the car… an epic ending on foot. [Outro] (A held pause. Then text — lowercase, seven words. Keyboard: click-clack-click.) "gg to all, and gn." (Heavy metal door locks shut. Silence.) [extended industrial cello solo, a contrabass joins in, war drum until fadeout]
