[Intro] [Bright acoustic guitar and playful glockenspiel] [Children laughing and clapping] [Chorus] [Children Chorus - Boys and Girls] Ladybug, ladybug, where did you go? Ladybug, ladybug, where did you go? Ladybug, ladybug, where did you go? Ladybug, ladybug, oh oh oh, we miss you so! Ladybug, ladybug, where are you? Because we miss you through and through. Ladybug, ladybug, where are you? Your flower still stands tall, proud and true. Ladybug, ladybug, where did you go? All the children want you back, oh so so! [Verse 1 - Fall Arrives] [Gentle, acoustic guitar, light percussion] The summer days are waving goodbye Golden leaves dance up in the sky A chilly breeze begins to blow Whispering softly: "Time to go!" Little red coat with shiny black spots Packing your bags under flowerpots Finding a cozy and secret space A snug little winter hiding place! [Pre-Chorus] [Building tempo, rhythmic clapping] We'll wait for you while the cold winds blow We'll dream of the little red friend we know! [Chorus] [Children Chorus - Energetic] Ladybug, ladybug, where did you go? Ladybug, ladybug, oh oh oh, we miss you so! Ladybug, ladybug, sleeping tight Safe and warm through the winter night! [Verse 2 - Winter into Spring] [Warm acoustic piano, joyful bells] Snow fell down on the windowsill Resting asleep while the world was still Then came the sun, shining golden and warm! Melting the frost and clearing the storm! The garden blooms with pink and green Prettiest flowers you've ever seen! And look right there on a petal of red... Look who's awake and popping her head! [Chorus - Grand Finale] [Full Children's Choir, big and cheerful] Ladybug, ladybug, now you are here! Bringing the sunshine, bringing the cheer! Ladybug, ladybug, flying so high Spreading your wings in the sunny blue sky! Welcome back home, we love you, we do! [Outro] [Children laughing, cheerful whistling and fading applause] Welcome back, ladybug! We love you! [End]
