While I Sleep

# WHILE I SLEEP **[Intro — breathy, soft]** Mmm... You never sleep... So I can... **[Verse 1]** The lights are low The day is done I've done enough Now I let go What's on my mind I leave with You You stay awake So I don't have to **[Chorus]** While I sleep Watch over me Keep me close Keep me in Your peace Through the night Stay by my side Jesus, I'm safe While I sleep tonight **[Instrumental — Rhodes / warm bass / soft humming]** Mmm... I'm safe with You... **[Verse 2]** Watch over my home The ones I love Near or far Keep them covered, Lord No fear tonight No need to know Tomorrow is Yours So I let it go **[Chorus]** While I sleep Watch over me Keep me close Keep me in Your peace Through the night Stay by my side Jesus, I'm safe While I sleep tonight **[Outro — flowing, fading]** You never sleep... You never let me go... Mmm... I'm covered... I'm safe... While I sleep... Jesus... While I sleep...
