Ice Cream Swirl

The freezer light is humming low, I'm standing where the cold winds blow. My fingers clutching at a box of beige, The story's turning to a bitter page. It's just a pint of generic vanilla bean, The saddest thing that I have ever seen. I really don't need Jessie's girl... I just want an ice cream swirl! (why can't I find some dairy like that?) I wish I had an ice cream swirl... (na-na-na-na-na-na) I wish I had an ice cream swirl... (where can I find a swirl like that?) I see it sitting on the middle shelf, A multi-colored dream unto itself. A ribbon of caramel and a chocolate core, I've never wanted anything much more. But my wallet's light and my heart is heavy now, I'm sweating in the dairy aisle somehow. I really don't need Jessie's girl... I just want an ice cream swirl! (why can't I find some dairy like that?) I wish I had an ice cream swirl... (na-na-na-na-na-na) I wish I had an ice cream swirl... (where can I find a swirl like that?) I been looking in the mirror all the time... Wondering when I'll find some ice cream... And she's over there with a basket full of dreams... She's buying fancy frozen custards and chocolate creams... I'm stuck with this bargain basement frost... Oh look at the joy that I have lost... I really don't need Jessie's girl... I just want an ice cream swirl! (why can't I find some dairy like that?) I wish I had an ice cream swirl... (na-na-na-na-na-na) I wish I had an ice cream swirl... (where can I find a swirl like that?) Why can't I find some dairy like that?
