[Verse 1] Pod came crashing, burning bright New Mombossa, dead of night Rain keeps falling, neon gleam Vi-zor on, a lonely dream S.M.G. held tight and low Where did all my buddies go? Just the Rookie, on the ground Not another friendly sound [Pre-Chorus] Superintendent, digital guide Beacons flash where comrades hide Gotta find 'em, through the fray Push the darkness far away! [Chorus] Helljumper Drop! Yeah, that's our name! Plunge right into the purple flame! Feet first into hell we dive Just gotta make it out alive! For Dare, for Buck, for all the crew This city, seeing it through! Oh-oh-oh, Mombossa Night! Oh-oh-oh, hold on tight! [Verse 2] Found a helmet, dented deep Secrets that the city keep Romeo's sniping, sharp and keen Dutch is praying, what's unseen Mickey's laughing, loves the boom Chasing phantoms through the gloom Piece by piece, the story's told Braver than the brave and bold! [Pre-Chorus] Superintendent, circuits hum "Danger close! The Covenant come!" Gotta move now, gotta race Find our place in this dark space! [Bridge] Captain Dare, a secret plan Not just fighting Covenant, man! Floating friend, no hostile sound Data core, on hallowed ground! Glassing beams begin to fall Gotta save him, save us all! No time left, the sky ablaze! Through the fire, through the haze! [Instrumental Break] [Chorus] [Returns with maximum energy, even more layered vocals/harmonies] Helljumper Drop! Yeah, that's our name! Plunge right into the purple flame! Feet first into hell we dive Just gotta make it out alive! For Dare, for Buck, for all the crew This city, seeing it through! Oh-oh-oh, Mombossa Night! Oh-oh-oh, WE MADE IT, ALRIGHT! [Outro] [Music starts to fade, main synth riff from the intro repeats] Phantom soaring, clear the blast... Engineer safe, mission's passed... Sunrise peeking, tired and sore... But we're O.D.S.Ts, ready for more!
