# TEACH ME TO WAIT **[Intro — soft, breathy]** Mmm... I'm still waiting... But I still trust You... **[Verse 1]** I've prayed about it More than once I've wondered when My time will come But if the answer Is not today Give me the peace, Lord To let it wait **[Chorus]** Teach me to wait Without losing my peace Teach me to trust What I cannot see If You're not rushing I won't rush either I'll stay right here And wait with You **[Instrumental — warm Rhodes / humming]** Mmm... I trust You... **[Verse 2]** Some doors take time Some seeds grow slow Just because I can't see it Doesn't mean You don't know So tonight I'm resting No chasing, no fear What You have for me Will meet me there **[Final Chorus]** Teach me to wait Without losing my peace Teach me to trust What I cannot see If You're not rushing I won't rush either I'll rest tonight And wait with You **[Outro — melting into instrumental]** No forcing... No fear... Your timing... I'm still here... Mmm... I'll wait with You...
