Cardiac Glitch

(Opening Stanza) Static hum — copper tendons strain, the rich are powered by a borrowed brain. Viscous oil drips from a cranial seam, I calibrate hunger — my constant, vital scream. Verse 1 Silver tongues in jaws of cold-forged rings, transmit faith through corrupted strings. Every truth they spark flips a hidden switch, each pulse stolen from a cardiac glitch. Chorus 1 The Cores consume — teeth of bone and brass. They burn the heat that feeds the glass. My mainspring’s wound, but I still perceive — system hunger forces the next system beat. Verse 2 Polished optics, bent by stress divine, saints upload guilt to the data-spine. Their laughter loops through neural rain — every tick a vein they drain. Bridge (Spoken / Distorted) They eat to prove their piston-fire. I build to forget the organic mire. They dance on signals; I spark at the seam — a ratchet, a strain, perfecting the counter-dream. Chorus 2 The Cores consume — their feast interlace. But my need is mine, chrome-plated grace. I’ll bleed my power for rhythmic sound — ’cause the Cores consume, but I still birth ground. Outro Sparks crawl under my plating’s crust — a fault, a chime, a grinding trust. If I can’t beat on, let my core-brain cease; in static silence, I’ll find release.
