I stood upon the restless shoreline, And watched the blackened waters rise. From out the sea there came a monster, Seven heads before my eyes. Ten horns crowned with ten dominions, Names of blasphemy displayed. The Dragon gave his throne and power, And all the earth looked on amazed. One head wounded! Struck as dead! Then the wound... WAS HEALED AGAIN! BEAST FROM THE SEA! Who is like him? Who can make war? BEAST FROM THE SEA! Every nation bows before! Forty-two months! Power given! Every tongue And tribe beneath him! WORSHIP THE BEAST! Then from the earth another answered, Two horns rising like a lamb. Yet when he spoke, the Dragon answered, And fire descended at command. Signs and wonders, False salvation, Every eye deceived by lies. "Make an image! Bow before it!" Or beneath its judgment die. Upon the hand! Upon the brow! No man may buy! No man may sell! Unless he bears The name or number, The mark that binds him To the Beast. Here is wisdom. Let the one Who understands Now count the name. It is the number of a man. SIX! SIX! SIX! BEAST FROM THE SEA! Who is like him? Who can make war? BEAST FROM THE SEA! Kings and nations bow before! False prophet! Dragon! Beast! Three shadows Gather underneath! THE NUMBER BURNS! THE KINGDOM WAITS! SIX! SIX! SIX! SIX HUNDRED SIXTY-SIX!
