Upon the throne a scroll was waiting, Written within, sealed outside. A mighty voice shook all creation: "Who shall break what God has tied?" No hand in heaven, No hand below, Could loose the words no man should know. And I wept For none was worthy To break the seals And let them show. "Do not weep! Behold the Lion!" I looked... And saw a Lamb. As though slain, yet standing before me, Seven eyes burned through the night. He took the scroll from Him upon the throne, And heaven roared at the sight. Ten thousand voices, Thunder rising, Golden bowls and harps were raised. "Worthy! Worthy! Take the scroll! Let every seal be torn away!" BREAK THE SEAL! Let the hidden word be known! BREAK THE SEAL! Let the will of heaven unfold! One by one, The end begins. No mortal hand Can close again THE SEVEN SEALS! The Lamb reached forth. The first seal shattered. Thunder rolled across the throne. From one of the creatures Came the summons, Like a voice of breaking stone: "COME AND SEE!" Far beyond the gates of heaven Something moved beneath the night. Then I heard it... Slowly coming... Closer. Closer... BREAK THE SEAL! Let the hidden word be known! BREAK THE SEAL! Now the reckoning has begun! One is broken! Three shall follow! Four shall ride Where none can hide! COME AND SEE!
