First attempt (1 generation) with VERSION 4.5 :) I really hope you enjoy this one, all. It took a lot of work, time, sweat and tears. I broke a little inside writing this. I'm trying to bring back to life, the Shakespeare style ballad genres from the late 18th century and the early 1900's :) Love you all, Suno fam! <3 ------------------------- O, fairest land, how dost thou suffer thus, Under the yoke of tyranny's dark might, Where freedom's voice, doth whisper low and hushed, Lest power's keen ear, doth hear, and strike with fright. A plague upon the land, where truth doth hide, And falsehoods spread, like autumn's withered pride, The masses cower, in silence and in fear, As one man's rule, doth all our liberties shear. O, wretched soul, that doth inhabit this land, How canst thou live, and witness such a stand? What canst thou do, to bring back liberty? Doth thy small voice, have power to set us free? My family dear, my friends so true, How can I shield them, from this tyranny anew? Their safety dear, doth lie upon my heart, And I, a guardian, shall not falter, nor depart. Shall I take up the quill, and write in bold protest? Or shall I speak, with fervent passion's unrest? Or shall I stand, with steadfast virtue's might, And challenge power, with courage in the light? The task, a giant, doth loom large and dire, Yet still I ask, what can I do, to make it right? Shall I unite, with others of like heart and mind? And together strive, for freedom's sacred find? For those I love, I shall not hesitate, To stand, to fight, to shield them from fate, Their well-being dear, doth motivate my soul, To challenge power, and make our freedom whole. O, Liberty, dear Liberty, how dost thou sigh, In whispers, in the darkness, "Come, and set me free!" And I, a humble soul, do hear thy gentle call, And vow to act, to stand, to fight for thee, for all.
