V6

[Intro — whispered] Pharaoh... You hardened your heart. Now watch what follows. The river remembers. The river turns red. [Verse 1 — Blood] Nile runs crimson beneath the burning sun, Water becomes a warning and the judgment has begun. Fish rise dead, the river starts to stink, Every household thirsts but there's nothing safe to drink. Staff against the water, command from the Lord, Egypt hears the sentence but refuses the word. Red through the temples, red beneath the sky, A kingdom learns too late that its gods cannot reply. [Verse 2 — Frogs] From the river they crawl, Over rooftops, through the walls. Beds and ovens, bowls and floors, Flesh upon flesh behind every door. Pharaoh cries, "Make them go!" Then hardens his heart when the plague moves slow. Silence comes back... But mercy won't stay. [Verse 3 — Gnats] Dust becomes a living swarm, Tiny teeth in every storm. Priests raise hands but cannot cleanse, Egypt chokes beneath its own defense. "This is the finger of God," But Pharaoh still refuses the rod. [Verse 4 — Flies] Black clouds swallow every street, Buzzing wings and rotting heat. Palaces drowned beneath the swarm, But Goshen stands untouched and warm. A line is drawn that none can cross. The mighty kingdom counts its loss. [Pre-Chorus] One warning. Two warnings. Still the heart stays stone. The judgment keeps climbing. The king stands alone. [Verse 5 — Pestilence] Horses fall. Cattle die. Smoke rises beneath the sky. The wealth of Egypt turns to dust, Every living treasure fails to last. Still Pharaoh says, "I will not bend." So another nightmare begins. [Verse 6 — Boils] Fire beneath the skin, Pain that crawls within. Ash thrown upward, Bodies breaking down. Priests cannot stand. Doctors cannot heal. Egypt finally learns What judgment feels. [Verse 7 — Hail] Thunder tears the heavens wide, Fire and ice fall side by side. Fields are shattered, trees are stripped, Every living thing caught out is hit. "Let my people go!" The warning screams. But pride still rules The king's dead dreams. [Verse 8 — Locusts] Green turns black beneath the swarm. Millions descend like a living storm. Every leaf. Every grain. Every scrap is stripped away. Egypt's hunger starts to grow. Still the king refuses, Still he says no. [Verse 9 — Darkness] Three days without the sun. Three days where the daylight's gone. Hands before faces, Eyes open wide. No flame can conquer The darkness outside. But in the houses of Israel, There is light. [Bridge — whispered / building] One final warning. Mark the doors. Blood upon the threshold. Do not open them. Tonight... Egypt learns the price Of refusing mercy. [Verse 10 — The Firstborn] Midnight. No thunder. No flame. No army marching through the gate. Just silence. Then— A cry. Another. Another. From palace to prison, From throne room to street, Egypt wakes to a kingdom Broken at its feet. The firstborn fall. The mourning begins. Pharaoh finally breaks Beneath the weight of his sins. "Rise. Go. Leave my land." [Breakdown] NO MORE WARNINGS. NO MORE SIGNS. NO MORE MERCY FROM THE KING'S PRIDE. THE RIVER RAN RED. THE HEAVENS RAINED FIRE. THE DARKNESS CAME. THE JUDGMENT CAME. TEN PLAGUES. TEN WITNESSES. ONE HARDENED HEART. [Outro — slow, ominous] They marched into the night. Behind them Egypt wept. And somewhere in the darkness, a sea waited. The story wasn't over. Not even close.
