[Instrumental intro] [Verse 1] We march to the crusade for the holy land, Steel in our hearts, by God’s command. Nothing will stand ‘gainst the banners we bear, We ride for salvation—our sins laid bare! [Pre-Chorus] We answer the Pope’s holy call, Jerusalem’s doomed, it surely will fall! [Chorus] Holy knights ride onward with pride and with glory, The heathens shall burn for what we call unholy! We fight side by side with our brothers-in-arms, We bear the red cross—we are His Templars! [Verse 2] We bear the holy cross with faith and glory, Our souls absolved—we are knights of the holy! We shatter the heathens’ unholy faith, For salvation they find only in death! [Bridge] Nicaea fell in ten-oh-nine-seven, our glory! Antioch taken, ten-oh-nine-eight, for His holy. In ten-oh-ninety-nine we beheld Jerusalem’s walls— We stormed through the gates, the Holy Land falls! [Chorus] Holy knights ride onward with pride and with glory, The heathens shall burn for what we call unholy! We fight side by side with our brothers-in-arms, We bear the red cross—we are His Templars! [Final Chorus] Holy knights ride onward with pride and with glory, The heathens shall burn for what we call unholy! We fight side by side with our brothers-in-arms, We bear the red cross—we are His Templars! [Instrumental Outro]
