**Wings of the Storm** **Verse 1** I hear the thunder calling out my name, A distant voice inside the wind and rain. I leave the weight of yesterday below, Spread my wings and let the wild sky know. **Chorus** We are soaring through the sky, Rising higher, burning bright. With the whole world far below, There is nowhere we can’t go. Through the darkness, through the storm, We will race towards the dawn. With our hearts and spirits high, We are soaring through the sky. **Verse 2** Across the mountains, over fields of gold, Beyond the boundaries we’ve always known. No chains can hold us, nothing bars our way, We chase the sun into a brand-new day. **Chorus** We are soaring through the sky, Rising higher, burning bright. With the whole world far below, There is nowhere we can’t go. Through the darkness, through the storm, We will race towards the dawn. With our hearts and spirits high, We are soaring through the sky. **Verse 3** And if the night should hide the road ahead, We’ll follow every shining star instead. Together we are stronger than the fear, The edge of heaven has never felt so near. **Bridge** Higher! Higher! Let the fire lead us on. Higher! Higher! We were born to greet the dawn. **Final Chorus** We are soaring through the sky, Rising higher, burning bright. With the whole world far below, There is nowhere we can’t go. Through the darkness, through the storm, We will race towards the dawn. With our hearts and spirits high, We are soaring through the sky. Yes, our dreams have learned to fly— We are soaring through the sky!
