The Hungering Artifact [Experimental]

STUDIO

Frost in my chest A dim purple flame The shell starts to tremble It whispers my name It pulls at my mind, It scrapes from within Cold as the night Sharp as a sin The shell hungers Takes the warmth I used to own Turns my heartbeat into stone And the more I try to break The deeper it carves Its hunger in my wake Snow in my veins A pulse out of place The shell wants a memory It steals what it tastes It feasts on its gains It gives what it takes It coils through my bones A cold parasite Feeding on thoughts I try not to fight It still fuels my stride The shell hungers Takes the warmth I used to own Turns my heartbeat into stone And the more I try to break The deeper it carves Its hunger in my wake Through violet fire My shadow bends A hollow voice A truth that ends The shell hungers Breathing frost beneath my skin And it feasts on what I’ve been I can feel the tether tighten The more it feeds The more its shadows brighten It wants more, no matter if there´s to take Symbiotic piece of unknown power Does it need me? .... I need it.
