[Verse] In a tower high where shadows creep She’s caught in the arms of an endless sleep A spinning wheel waits with a cursed gleam Pricked her finger and lost her dream [Verse 2] Blue dress swirling like the sky’s embrace Pink dress glimmers in a moonlit trace Time stands still in her slumbered grace But her heart beats wild in a secret place [Chorus] Once upon a dream she danced so free Now the prince rides on to set her free With a kiss so bold he’ll break the chain Turn her slumber into life again [Verse 3] Through the forest thick where the briars grow He fights for her in the twilight glow A sword in hand and a heart aglow He won’t stop ‘til her love he knows [Bridge] The curse is strong but his will’s much more He’ll storm the gates and shatter the lore Through fire and fate he’ll reach the door To wake her up forevermore [Chorus] Once upon a dream she danced so free Now the prince rides on to set her free With a kiss so bold he’ll break the chain Turn her slumber into life again
