Carried While Walking
I been moving with weight but it don’t feel the same when I’m letting it ride in the rhythm I’m in, it used to be something I carried like pressure but now it just moves like a part of my step when I’m shifting Every line that I walk got a sense of alignment, I’m not overthinking… the placement of motion… I step and it lands where it needs to without me controlling the way that it flows… in the moment… There’s a difference in holding it tight like it’s something that needs to be managed or fixed… …and letting it exist …in the shift Where it softens the second I don’t interfere with the way that it moves when it’s part of the drift I don’t stop… …I don’t stall I just move… …through it all It don’t pull like it did when I gave it attention, it don’t sit like a weight I was meant to contain, it just lives in the pattern I move in now, something that’s there but it don’t feel the same I don’t break down the feeling or try to define it, I don’t need it to mean anything more, I just let it exist in the space that it’s in while I keep moving forward the way I was before There’s a calm in the way that it settles when I don’t resist it or try to escape… …it moves …in place And the more that I move with it, less it controls how it shows in the path that I take I don’t stop… I don’t stall I just move… …through it all No hold… No drag… No weight… That lasts
