Seeding time

I’m going up the mountain Seeding time has come I’m going up the mountain seeding time has come Gunna pull on my hobnails And head to Rocky Run Climb a Thatch Palmtree Just to Throw down that hand Gunna climb that palm tree Box and strip that hand Well I’ll get me a bushel And buy me a block of land Go by the Grey Face Down to Fighting Cock Go on over the Grey Face Down to Fighting Cock Look up that mountain Watch out for falling rock Strap on my sheath knife Heave my coil of rope Yeah put on the sheath knife Gather my coil of rope Cause the seeds are plenty Over on the Little Slope There’s Ned and Dusty Beat me to the punch There’s Ned and Dusty You know they beat me to the punch Got a team of feral goats Loaded up well before lunch Yes they did Just don’t let Dusty anywhere near that keg of punch You know there’s no place on the Island That Gil has never seen No place on the Island that Gil has never been He’s covered more ground Than a thousand men have seen I’m going up the mountain Seeding time has come I’m going up the mountain seeding time has come Gunna pull my hobnail boots on Just to have some fun Seeding time Seeding time seeding time
