Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening [NDC,w40]

*Reimagination of the Poem by Robert Frost* Intro – [instrumental] (A breath of stillness, faint ticking like cracks in time.) Verse 1 Whose woods these are I think I know, His house is in the village though. He will not see me stopping here, To watch his woods fill up with snow In stillness where the hours slow. Pre-Chorus My little horse must think it queer, To stop without a farmhouse near. Between the woods and frozen lake, The darkest evening of the year A crack in time begins to wake. Chorus He gives his harness bells a shake, To ask if there is some mistake. The only other sound’s the sweep, Of easy wind and downy flake Through stillness where the moments break. [Sonic Interlude] (Clock chimes fracture, echoing like cracks in time through the silence.) Outro The woods are lovely, dark and deep, But I have promises to keep. And miles to go before I sleep, Through stillness where the echoes climb— And miles to go through cracks in time
