After many days, the word came... Go show yourself to Ahab! Famine's raging in the land! Famine's killing Samaria, horses droppin' dead Ahab's screamin' for grass, Obadiah's scared instead Hid the prophets in caves, fifties in the dark Bread and water, fearin' Jezebel's bloody mark Elijah shows up on the road, "Tell your lord I'm here!" Obadiah's shakin', sweat and fear in his stare "How have I sinned? He'll hunt me down and slay Spirit's gonna snatch you, I'll be thrown away!" Elijah stares him down, fire in his eyes "As Yahweh of hosts lives, before whom I stand I will surely show myself to him today, no lie No running, no hiding, I'm done with the games Go tell your king, the troubler has arrived Judgment's coming, the fire will decide!" Is it you, you troubler of Israel?! No, it's you and your Baals, you abandoned the commands! How long you limp between two sides? Choose today – Yahweh or the lies! Fire from heaven, that's the test God who answers – He's the best! Yahweh! He is God! Yahweh! He is God! Carmel's packed with prophets, 450 of the fake Elijah stands alone, "Let the bulls decide the stake" They cry to Baal from dawn till noon – not a sound Limping round the altar, screamin' "Answer now!" Cry louder! Maybe he's thinkin' deep Or takin' a piss, or gone to sleep! Cut yourselves, bleed for the god Swords and lances – still no nod! Raving on till the offering time No voice, no answer, no sign! Elijah stacks the stones, twelve for the tribes Dumps the water – three times, let it ride "Answer me, Yahweh, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel Turn their hearts back, let the people know it's real!" Fire falls from heaven, consumes it all Wood and stone and water, watch the flames enthrall! Is it you, you troubler of Israel?! No, it's you and your Baals, you abandoned the commands! How long you limp between two sides? Choose today – Yahweh or the lies! Yahweh! He is God! Yahweh! He is God! Yahweh! He is God! Seize the prophets! Drag 'em to the brook Kishon! No escape – slaughter at the banks! No more Baals! Yahweh! He is God! (He is God!) Yahweh! He is God! (He is God!) Troubler of Israel – the fire has come!
