---------------------------- Lyrics by : Kathlene Rushing © 2025 Kathlene Rushing All rights reserved. ---------------------------- You don’t have to run You don’t have to prove This is the truth And it’s waiting for you Be here now [Verse 1] Scrolling through a hundred lives While your own is passing by You’re standing at the edge of holy But your eyes are somewhere else The sun is setting in real time But you're chasing highlight reels The breeze is speaking The sky is singing But you can’t hear it through the noise [Chorus] Be here now Not in the next scroll, Not in the next plan This moment is all we ever really have Be here now Breathe in the ocean Feel your child’s hand Life is not later— It’s right where you stand Be here now [Verse 2] You’re at the beach, But your mind’s in a meeting You’re with the ones you love, But your thumbs are tapping We keep saving life for later, But later doesn’t always come The Grand Canyon can’t move you If you’re watching through a lens And love can’t grow in echoes Of “just one more minute” [Chorus] Be here now Not in the noise, Not in the chase This breath, this laugh, this quiet space Be here now The sacred’s not far, It’s in your face It’s in the stillness you keep trying to replace Be here now [Bridge] The past is a picture The future’s a guess But right now You are fully blessed Let the tabs close Let the silence rise You are not behind— You are alive [Final Chorus – Soaring, layered vocals] Be here now Let the moment unfold Let your heartbeat be your home You don’t have to run You don’t have to prove This is the truth And it’s waiting for you Be here now The past is a picture The future’s a guess But right now You are fully blessed Be Here Now. Be Here Now.
