Jasher CH.06 - "In the Ark of Safety" V.05 - By S.L.G.

Verse 1: In the midst of chaos, we find our peace In the ark of safety, our hearts release From the flood of troubles, we're set apart In the presence of the Lord, our souls are new Chorus: Abiding in His presence, we find our strength In the stormy waters, His love shines bright and long In the ark of safety, we're made new and whole Where love and mercy surround us, we're made to know Verse 2: The lioness and her whelps, a lesson we learn Of rebellion and destruction, of sin and of fear But Noah's faith and obedience, a beacon we see A reminder of God's mercy, for you and for me Chorus: Abiding in His presence, we find our strength In the stormy waters, His love shines bright and long In the ark of safety, we're made new and whole Where love and mercy surround us, we're made to know Bridge: The Lord shut the door, and the floodwaters rose But Noah's family and the animals, in the ark they found reprieve A place of refuge, a place of rest Where the Lord's presence dwelled, and His love was best Chorus: Abiding in His presence, we find our strength In the stormy waters, His love shines bright and long In the ark of safety, we're made new and whole Where love and mercy surround us, we're made to know
