[Intro] Snap of heel on wood One tap Then a run Laughter spills like sun Over Rio in my chest [Verse 1] You slide in on two I turn on three Your dress catching colors From the balcony seats Trombone talking lazy Then it starts to tease We’re toe to toe Baby Heat under our feet [Chorus] Samba de sapato Hear our heartbeat on the floor Every step saying “mais um” So we spin back for more Samba de sapato From the stairs to the street When the choir starts calling We answer with our feet [Verse 2] You shout “Vem comigo” And you grab my hand Piano starts to sparkle Like a carnival band Choir rises behind us Claps cut through the air We’re turning small circles Drawing fire in the square [Bridge] [call-and-response Duet] [low vocal register] “Left Right Left” [bright female vocal] “Turn Fly Turn” [whispered vocals] Sand in our shoes Crowd starts to burn [full choir] Hey!
