Verse 1 The signs are all around us now, The days grow dark and cold. Men love themselves, not what is right, Just as your prophets told. Yet even as the storms increase, Your light shines ever bright, A beacon for the weary hearts Who long for truth and light. Chorus We will stand firm till your Kingdom comes, Our hope will not grow dim. Through every test, through loss and pain, We put our trust in him. For though this world is passing fast, Your promises stay strong. We’ll keep on walking in your ways, Enduring all life long. Verse 2 We see the nations rage in fear, The earth in birth pangs groan, But know that Christ already reigns Beside your holy throne. We’re not afraid of what may come, For you are by our side, And those who call upon your name In safety will abide. Chorus We will stand firm till your Kingdom comes, Our hope will not grow dim. Through every test, through loss and pain, We put our trust in him. For though this world is passing fast, Your promises stay strong. We’ll keep on walking in your ways, Enduring all life long. Verse 3 So help us, God, to persevere, To run the race with zeal, To never trade eternal joy For what this world calls real. When tribulation shakes the earth, When faith is hard to hold, Remind us of the crown of life, More precious far than gold. Bridge Though sun and moon and stars may fade, Your word will still remain. You will not leave your loyal ones To suffer all in vain. Final Chorus We will stand firm till your Kingdom comes, Our hope will not grow dim. With eyes of faith we follow Christ, And give our praise to him. Then every tear will disappear, All fear and death be done. Forever we will praise your name, Jehovah, with your Son.
