** TAKE YOUR TIME

84 BPM dark nocturnal indie/alternative rock with nostalgic 90s alt, early-2000s emo tension, lo-fi dream-pop and subtle post-punk, Defining melodic bass guitar drives a hypnotic syncopated groove with a distinctive repeating riff, Sparse clean guitar adds original angular high-string riffs, chiming harmonics, uneasy chords, subtle dissonance, icy chorus, phaser and spring reverb, Gritty rhythm guitar enters selectively in choruses without overpowering bass, Loose human live drums, roomy snare, tight bass lock, restrained fills, Close-mic youthful nasally ghostly male vocals, tired, intimate and conversational, with eerie echo trails, breaths, cracks, pitch drift and imperfect phrasing, Very short verses, addictive repetitive chorus, strong dynamics, Cassette hiss, tape saturation, dark warm low mids, muffled highs, distant drones and ghostly guitar trails, Bleak, regretful, lonely, haunting, raw and human
