[Intro – Brass riff, finger snaps, upright bass groove] [Verse 1] When an apple falls from a tall, tall tree, Everybody knows, “It’s gravity!” A weak force, yet powerful, Grabbing hold in a gentle pull. [Pre-Chorus] Take the leap, you'll be all right, Trust that force, holding tight! [Chorus] Gravity, gravity, pulling on me, Moving my body like it's meant to be! Swinging like stars in a cosmic spin, Gravity groove, let the dancing begin! [Verse 2] When I met you, it was easy to see, Everybody knew, “It’s gravity!” You moon-walked all around, and I'm the planet to which you're bound. [Pre-Chorus] Moon and Earth in a gentle dance, Gravity groove, built that romance. [Chorus] Gravity, gravity, pulling on me, Moving my body like it's meant to be! Swinging like stars in a cosmic spin, Gravity groove, let the dancing begin! [Electro swing instrumental section] [Bridge – Electro swing touch] I thought the world revolved around ME... Dance floor was flat? How wrong were we! Our son was the balance of our equation; keeping us centered, no evasion. Suddenly evolved from neanderthal, Gravity groove knew us all! [Pre-Chorus] Take the leap, you'll be all right, Trust that force, holding tight! [Final Chorus] Gravity, gravity, pulling on me, Moving my body like it's meant to be! Swinging like stars in a cosmic spin, Gravity groove, let the dancing begin!
