Freedom's Whisper

[Verse] Born a shadow in the night Chains rattled loud No end in sight But her heart burned bright Brighter than the flame Harriet Tubman Remember her name [Chorus] Run Run The stars will guide Through the dark Where fear collides Freedom's whisper In the trees it hides Run Run Leave the chains behind [Verse 2] Araminta Ross A name she wore But she carved her path She wanted more Steady steps Each one a fight A lantern of hope in the endless night [Prechorus] Her courage rose Unyielding tide She walked so others could ride [Chorus] Run Run The stars will guide Through the dark Where fear collides Freedom's whisper In the trees it hides Run Run Leave the chains behind [Bridge] She was the thunder The storm The rain Breaking the locks Defying the pain The North Star sang "You are not alone" Her footsteps echoed freedom's tone
