(Intro) (A bright, chirpy 8-bit melody starts immediately—very upbeat and "sunny." A fast, rhythmic bassline chugs along like a heartbeat. The sound of a digital "ping" as a piece of fruit is collected.) Verse 1 The sun is high in a pixelated sky And Tom-Tom’s got a look in his eye Running through the forest where the blue snails creep Across the jagged pits where the water is deep He’s got a grass skirt and a heart of gold Moving through a story that never gets old One trip on a stone and the dream is done So keep on moving in the tropical sun! Pre-Chorus Break open the egg, what’s waiting hide? A pair of magic wheels for a high-speed ride! Grab the red hammer, let the stone axes fly Nothing’s gonna stop him, he’s a Wonder Boy, why? Chorus Wonder Boy! Keep the fire alive Eat all the fruit if you want to survive Wonder Boy! Jumping over the fire Higher and higher on the digital wire Don’t let the timer run down to the floor He’s coming through the forest to settle the score! Verse 2 Watch out for the bees and the rolling rocks It’s a long-distance run in his bare-foot socks Through the dark caves where the bats take flight Into the desert in the heat of the light There’s a King at the end with a moving head You gotta hit him fast or you’re gonna be dead Collect the silver dolls, find every one The quest for Tina has only begun! Bridge (The music speeds up—the "Hurry Up!" tempo. The pitch gets higher and more frantic.) Fruit on the left! Fruit on the right! Keep the bar full With all of your might! (A cheerful, staccato synth solo that sounds like a tropical xylophone.) Chorus Wonder Boy! Keep the fire alive Eat all the fruit if you want to survive Wonder Boy! Jumping over the fire Higher and higher on the digital wire Don’t let the timer run down to the floor He’s coming through the forest to settle the score! Outro Wonder Boy... (Level Complete!) Wonder Boy... (On to the next!) Keep on skating... Keep on running... (The song ends with the classic "End of Level" jingle and a screen-clearing sparkle effect.)
