I feel born too late I missed the great times in history I can't prove i'd be on the right side and that i wouldn't run and hide I feel born too late Living in someone elses fate I want to be part of history Life, adventure, mystery I can't shake these visions all i've missed, all i'm missing I need to feel that i matter I need to be a hero Not just a weirdo To late to march for civil rights Can't show how i'd support the right side Missed the sexual revolution It's no fun now its not a sin. I'm searching for the ways to be remembered in future days Where is my purple haze I don't want to remember this daze Give me my own civil rights movement Give me a chance to be right Give me my own wikipedia page I need a target for this fear, this energy, this rage I just want to matter.
