[Chorus] Oh, they do the Havana Rock! Yeah, they dance around the clock! From the Malecon down to the bay All the teenage kids just want to play Shake it up, shake it down, don't you stop Everybody’s doing that Havana Rock! [Verse 2] Fidel bought a record from a fancy store He took it to the plaza and they wanted some more Mirta started dancing in her saddle shoes Singing "bye-bye rumba, goodbye son!" They took the mambo beat and they gave it a drive Man, that whole town is coming alive! [Chorus] Oh, they do the Havana Rock! Yeah, they dance around the clock! From the Malecon down to the bay All the teenage kids just want to play Shake it up, shake it down, don't you stop Everybody’s doing that Havana Rock! [Guitar Solo - Fast, twangy, and wild] [Verse 3] Well, the American tourists don't know what to say They never saw the kids go crazy this way They got the guitars loud and the bassline heavy Rocking on the bumper of a '55 Chevy The jukebox is smoking, the temperature's high We're gonna rock 'n' roll till the morning sky! [Chorus] Oh, they do the Havana Rock! Yeah, they dance around the clock! From the Malecon down to the bay All the teenage kids just want to play Shake it up, shake it down, don't you stop Everybody’s doing that Havana Rock! [Outro] Yeah, Havana Rock! Go, Fidel, go! Rock it in Havana! Yeah, it's really top! Havana Rock! [Big final guitar chord and drum roll]
