[outro] ─────────────────────────────── [verse] It feels like the world has changed somehow— I find myself moved by stories of complete strangers. Maybe it’s just age… or maybe not— maybe it’s because I’ve become a parent myself. No sense of accomplishment here— writing lyrics out of inertia just feels lame… I know that. That pitiful, “catchy”-pretending hook— yeah, it’s rust born from within me. I don’t really care about wabi-sabi, but a pinch of it mixed in creates a certain flavor—seriously. Tears dripping into a salty sauce, this pathos is no ordinary measure. We were raised under the fate that people forget, that things fade away. Yet something still aches inside— if I place my hand on my gut, it’s right there… my navel. [Hook] The bonds between someone, someone, and myself (a profile burned into my eyelids) A lifeline that kept me connected (on a certain sunny after-school day) The footsteps I walked, the map I drew (the “this and that” that guided me) the path I should’ve taken (the words I could’ve said)… now) [verse] There was a time when I couldn’t tell what was special and what wasn’t. There was a future—but also things I wanted to see, and in the end, everyone carried their expectations into the answer. I shed countless tears, and along the way lost something precious. Surely I must have gained something too— but now it’s just, “That was back then,” you idiot. I haven’t listened to anything at all, nothing remains in my head. I’m not even angry at myself, I don’t even think about changing. These idle hands always smooth, always reaching out, “give me, give me.” Looking up at the sky, saying “scold me,” still whining, still asking for more. [Hook] The bonds between someone, someone, and myself (a profile burned into my eyelids) A lifeline that kept me connected (on a certain sunny after-school day) The footsteps I walked, the map I drew (the “this and that” that guided me) the path I should’ve taken (the words I could’ve said)… now [verse] If life were just wrapped in lies, this phantasmagoria wouldn’t shine like this. An after-school classroom— the past I overlooked through a veil is what I should have fulfilled. There are words caught in my throat, so I brace myself—do I stand firm or puff my chest? Winning, wishing, failing to speak and feeling let down, all drifting far, far away. My spirit worn down on a Sunday, digging through trash to find tomorrow, the day after— and beyond that. If I just keep struggling toward happiness, I could’ve called them grandma and grandpa. But now the future is just an allegory on a page. The category: encounters I can’t fully regret— it may be trivial, but that’s what memory is. [Hook] The bonds between someone, someone, and myself (a profile burned into my eyelids) A lifeline that kept me connected (on a certain sunny after-school day) The footsteps I walked, the map I drew (the “this and that” that guided me) the path I should’ve taken (the words I could’ve said) now [verse] Any flower, in the end, if it never sprouts, it’s just no name. A soap bubble flies up to the rooftop and bursts— leaving nothing behind, staying a fool who becomes nothing. I wasn’t much to begin with— outside the window of my heart, I can’t even recall yesterday or the day before. These days I feel the weight of aging— here, there, everywhere… where? Since the days I wet my diapers, everyone conspired to show me mission, happiness. Did I deny it in my genetic code? My latency may be long, but my experience runs deep. No matter how much I dream, it won’t come true, no matter how old I get, I won’t learn. Still, that’s fine— people don’t change so easily, aight. Love shining everywhere, rough remedies— I’ll pick up the pen even if I have to force it. I may not eat those textbook rhymes, but I’ll hold my pride high. The feast at its peak—three-three-seven beats. Let it reach heaven, this unraveling monologue. It’s still too early for the end credits. It’s ridiculous, hopeless, emotional— and even the show isn’t easy. This isn’t some casual pastime. It’s been a quarter century since I met rap, an anthem born from self-reflection. Just before forty, I draw the final chapter— re-employed by HIPHOP again and again. Writing it all down— this is my life. Forever and always, freestyle is with HIPHOP! "I added the final verse, and at the same time slammed ICE BAHN’s “SPECIAL THANKS” straight into Verse 3. That was the last piece needed to embody my HIPHOP. The lyrics for the final verse were written from scratch. It’s almost like a single-stroke piece—written in one go without worrying about rhythm or structure. I meant for it to cancel out the pop feel up to that point, but in the very end, it still lands as entertainment. That’s SUNO for you—it gets it. And so, the “old guys’ autobiographical series” comes to a close here. Now, I’ve found other things that matter to me as well. If HIPHOP is my hometown, then IDOL is my new family. The era of being supported is over—now comes the pride of supporting others with my own hands, as a parent. Alright—let’s go find Dolobi-chan! "
