She walked in the bar and ordered a beer, Red hair, brown eyes, with a hint of fear. A guarded look and a cold, hard stare, I knew right then I should probably beware. Verse 2 That look said, “Boy, don’t even try,” But something kept pulling me closer to her side. I know I’ll get burned, but I have to try, Then our eyes met, and she flashed me a smile. Chorus She’s trouble, I can see it in her eyes, She’s trouble, but I can’t stay away. She ain’t looking for much, neither am I, She’s trouble — but I like her that way. Verse 3: I watched her take a sip and tuck her hair behind her ear, She caught me looking, but she didn’t seem to care. She gave me that smile, then looked away, I knew right then I had to make my move that day. Chorus She’s trouble, I can see it in her eyes, She’s trouble, but I can’t stay away. She ain’t looking for much, neither am I, She’s trouble — but I like her that way. Verse 4 I slid off my stool and headed her way, She looked up at me, but had nothing to say. I raised up my glass, she raised hers too, That little smile said, “You know what to do.” [melody] Verse 5 We walked outside, she was by my side, The sheriff pulled up and took her for a ride. She looked at me with that same old smile, Guess she was trouble all the while. Chorus She’s trouble, I can see it in her eyes, She’s trouble, but I can’t stay away. She ain’t looking for much, neither am I, She’s trouble — but I like her that way.
