Immorality
What is this that stands before me... I traverse the soundscapes of every day, Past memories tarnished in every way. I listen with purpose and an open heart, To witness every tear torn apart. The Earth is beautiful, the Earth is blue, Same with the tears shed by me and you. I haven't found a single soul Untouched by the darkness taking toll. The plague of immorality! Young or old, truth be told! Spinning Earth, I tremble as the darkness envelops you, A shining gem before shadows consumed the land we knew! Where are our men, where are the fathers to lead the rest? Our mothers weep, our daughters wail, The youth, the young men lost to the sea, Drifting away in tragedy. I traverse the soundscapes of every day, Past memories tarnished in so many ways. A dark chronicle I behold and witness... The plague of immorality! Young or old, truth be told! Spinning Earth, I tremble as the darkness envelops you, A shining gem before shadows consumed the land we knew! My palms are raised to the heavens... My heart encased in stone... A guiding light I shine forward, To lead my weary soul home.
