Wear Me Through the Seasons

[Verse 1] Walk me through December Walk me through the rain Glide through sun in summer and autumn fields of grain [Chorus 1] Wear me through the seasons Keep me like a second skin As we brave through every weather Keep the warmth aglow within [Verse 2] Treat me like your favorite sweater Dry me down after rain Gently wash and spin and sunned Folded and lightly lain [Chorus 2] Wear me through the seasons Keep me close to you As we brave through every weather Every mood from pink to blue [Bridge] As days go by My threads run thinner Still warm for you Just not a grinner… Bring me in Keep me close Let me be Yours, always… [Final Chorus] Wear me through the seasons Keep me like a second skin As we brave through every weather Keep the warmth aglow within Wear me till my threads go bare Keep me close to you Let me be here hanging by Your warm companion true. [Spoken whisper] “Please, don’t throw me away.”
