Spellbound & Misunderstood (Original)

[Verse 1] Whispers in the night Shadows in the moonlight They call us witches but they don't know our light Underneath the crescent's glow They fear what they don't know They call us dark they call us strange But we hold the power to change [Chorus] We're spellbound when misunderstood They fear our power but we're still good Dancing in the moonlight just like we should We're spellbound when misunderstood [Verse 2] In the forest shadows creep But our magic runs so deep They chase us through the village streets But our hearts hold love's heartbeat [Chorus] We're spellbound when misunderstood They fear our power but we're still good Dancing in the moonlight just like we should We're spellbound when misunderstood [Verse 3] By the river's edge we dream Casting spells in silver streams They shun what they can't see But in the night we're wild and free [Chorus] We're spellbound when misunderstood They fear our power but we're still good Dancing in the moonlight just like we should We're spellbound when misunderstood [Bridge] In the caves where echoes hum We gather strength our time will come They twist our names they cast us out But we'll rise with power without a doubt [Chorus] We're spellbound when misunderstood They fear our power but we're still good Dancing in the moonlight just like we should We're spellbound when misunderstood [Verse 4] On the mountaintop so grand We greet the sun our power drawn Chains can't hold our spirits tight We're witches we'll stand and fight [Chorus] We're spellbound when misunderstood They fear our power but we're still good Dancing in the moonlight just like we should We're spellbound when misunderstood [Verse 5] In the flames we rise up high They can't burn the truth or sky We'll break the chains we'll break the lies With magic strong we'll rise and fly [Chorus] We're spellbound when misunderstood They fear our power but we're still good Dancing in the moonlight just like we should We're spellbound when misunderstood [Outro] So when the night is dark and cold Remember us the brave and bold With spellbound when misunderstood Our magic's pure our hearts are good
