Frozen in Fright

[Intro] Yo, I can’t breathe the airs too thick, my heart is pounding, my fear has me feeling so sick. I swear I saw a shadow move kinda hard to prove but the terror here is really getting thick. Probably a deranged killer here gonna get a brutal stabbin' in my ass my anxiety has me shakin'. If fear was an Olympic sport I'd take the gold, yeah if fear had a record it'd be a record I'm breakin'. [Verse 1] I’m runnin’ through the street screamin' in fear. Cryin’ like a bitch, I'm pretty sure my end is near. Every noise got me jumpin’, every shadow got my heart thumpin'. I peeked back at what's behind me, saw nothin' but still had my ass dumpin'. Heard about a killer on the loose but maybe that was just from a movie I saw. I'm scared of you, a lil' scared of me, and scared of every picture my children draw. I panicked and went a little insane tried to call 911 but fumbled my phone in fear before I was done. Bumped into a tree and knocked a hornet nest down and it cracked open as it hit the ground. Screamin' and scared covered in the welts of a full on assault and it was all my shadows fault. If I could afford it I'd have built a panic vault maybe then I'd feel safe and my jitters would halt. "BOOM" something just slammed within the dumpster and I think it's the devil. Fuck this, I just soaked my pants in piss, I'm absolutely terrified on every single level. I ran back inside and hid in my big deep freezer, probably not the best place I decided to pick. Cause now I couldn't get out I start to panic wondering how long until I got icicles hangin' off my dick. [Hook] I’m really scared of the darkness and I’m super scared of a little light too. I’m scared of this freezer thinkin' to myself "Now what the fuck am I gonna do?" I'm breathin’ too loud and now I'm shivering frozen in fear. Why was today the day I finally got brave enough to wear my new vest. It has no sleeves and of course again I get stuck in this cold coffin covered in frost. Then like the blinding morning sun I am blinded by the light right before my life was lost. But it was not salvation just the maniac reaching in for an icicle to stab me in my face. That's when I bolted out with haste running for my life hoping he decided not to chase. You could about feel the terror in the air, no chance to spare to stop and check if he's still there. To glance back I wouldn't dare, it's either that killer, or my wife, or possibly a big scary grizzly bear. [Hook/Outro] I’m really scared of the darkness and I’m super scared of a little light too.
