Verse 1 An ancient challenge has been made, A question in the sky: “Will any one stay true to God, Or will his faith just die?” The Tempter claims we serve for gain, That love is just a lie, But through the trial and the pain, We give our God reply. Chorus We’ll walk in our integrity, And make your heart rejoice. To prove our love and loyalty, We lift a steady voice. Though mountains fall into the sea, Our stand will stay the same. For all in heav’n and earth to see, We’ll honor your great name. Verse 2 It’s in the small and quiet things, The choices no one sees, The peace that real devotion brings, The heart that seeks to please. We will not compromise the truth For favor or for fear. From older ones to days of youth, We hold your statutes dear. Chorus We’ll walk in our integrity, And make your heart rejoice. To prove our love and loyalty, We lift a steady voice. Though mountains fall into the sea, Our stand will stay the same. For all in heav’n and earth to see, We’ll honor your great name. Verse 3 Your faithful Son has shown the way, Obedient through the test. He put your will above his own, In this he stood the best. We follow in his footsteps now, Through fire, storm, and flood, Determined to remain like him, True even unto blood. Bridge You see the struggle, see the fight, You know the cost we pay. Yet walking in your truth and light Is still the only way. Final Chorus We’ll walk in our integrity, And make your heart rejoice. In every trial our prayer will be To stay within your choice. When every test is finally past, And all deceit is gone, Our faithfulness will ever last, Before your throne, O One.
