Meet Me Under the Mistletoe

Verse 1 You walked in the room like a spark off a flame, Boots clickin’ time to a carol they sang. Crowd’s buzzin’ loud but I only see you, Smilin’ in the corner with your red dress too. I tip my hat and say “Merry Christmas, hey,” You laugh like you knew I’d be headed your way. Snow’s fallin’ outside but this heat ain’t slow— Girl, I’ve got a plan you need to know… Chorus So meet me under the mistletoe, baby, Right by the doorway where the lights get hazy. One sweet kiss and we’ll let it snow— Let the whole party wonder where we go. Yeah, scoot on closer, don’t say no, I’ve been waitin’ all night just to tell you so— If you’re lookin’ for trouble wrapped in a bow… Meet me under the mistletoe. Verse 2 You whisper, “Boy, you better make this count,” So I pull you in closer without any doubt. Your hands in my jacket, that grin on your face— Feels like Christmas magic all over this place. Folks start cheerin’ like they saw it before, Someone hollers, “Get a room!” from across the floor. We slip outside where the cold winds blow— But girl, you’re turnin’ up the heat on this snow… Chorus So meet me under the mistletoe, baby, Right by the doorway where the lights get hazy. Bridge Let the world keep spinnin’, let the fiddles ring— I only want one little Christmas thing. If love’s a gift, then girl, here I go— I’ll be waitin’ on you when the lights get low… Final Chorus So meet me under the mistletoe, baby, Right by the doorway where the lights get hazy. One sweet kiss and we’ll let it snow— Let the whole party wonder where we go. Yeah, the night feels right and I think we both know— Meet me under the mistletoe.
